Wish List

We are constantly asked by friends and family what we want/need. Usually I can not think of things on the spot. So I have created a link (right hand side) that will take you to our wish list. I can add and remove things easily in order to keep it updated. Thanks for being interested in our work here in Leon.

Church going strong

The church has started collecting bags of clothes and toys that we will take to a local children's home at the end of April. This is one of my projects and I'm really excited about it!
Chris has enjoyed his new role, teaching the 4 & 5 year olds!

The State Fair is Back!

Yesterday the State Fair kicked off here in Leon. We went with Omar, Tana & Emma. We ate some really good food and watched a dolphin show. We had a lot of fun. Since it only cost $1.50 for our family to get in and we can walk to it, we hope to enjoy it as much as possible the few weeks it's here. (And yes, I am wearing my Bronco shirt and we were back at the house by 7:00 to watch Denver beat the Patriots.)

Celebrating "King's Day" at our house!

The "Rosca". On King's Day they eat this traditional bread to celebrate the day the King's brought gifts to baby Jesus. Hidden in the bread are small plastic babies and if you get one you are suppose to host a meal for everyone!

Sitting and chatting!

We had a full house! Including members from our congregation, one across town and family from Mexico City!

Playing ping-pong.

Un novio?

David asked Alison to be his novia (girlfriend). Alison said yes!

Happy New Years!

We celebrated New Year's Eve across town with another Church of Christ. We got there around 10:30 and we did some singing and had a lesson from the preacher there. At midnight we counted down the new year and hugged everyone...then...they brought out an entire meal. At MIDNIGHT! We manged to leave around 1:00. It was a long night, but we had fun!
The kids love their new towels from Grandma! They like to keep them on even after their bath!
