Welcome Home Soldier...

Back from Iraq and already on the go again! Doesn't Wayne look great with his little boy! Wayne returned safe and sound from Iraq a few weeks ago. Now he is enjoying time with his wife and beautiful baby boy. He started back to work at Starbuck's and hopes to keep moving up the ladder there. The best to you S/Sgt. Stephens. Thank you for your courageous service to our country. Two years in Iraq! You deserve a metal! Posted by Picasa

Sorry Sooooooooo Long...

Sorry that it has been so long since I have posted. I do have plenty of excuses, the AIMers arrived so it's been crazy, our church merged so we are busy getting to know everyone, I can't find my battery charger to take and post pictures of the kids, etc...Anyways, we have been really busy, all in really good ways. Our church had hit a slump in April, but then began booming in May and continues into June. It is easy to sit back and wonder were God is working, and then to go on Sunday and see young people there whom the AIMers invited, to watch families fellowshipping together who had fallen out with one another until we arrived, to watch as family members reach out and invite there extended family and neighbors. It has just been amazing! God really working here in Leon and it is awesome! Although we still mourn those who have rejected Jesus we rejoice with those accepting Him. We have had three baptisms in the past month and will have another this Sunday! Continue to pray for our work!
We hit 84 in attendance! Posted by Picasa
